Bankstone potentially faces the ultimate test of its oganisational capabilities half-way through this year’s Medieval Monkeys charity fundraising round-Yorkshire monkey bike ride.
Currently under serious consideration as the overnight stop destination for Medieval Monkeys, since Scarborough can’t or won’t have us this year, is insignificant map dot Masham, a mere townlet that nevertheless boasts – not one but – two breweries.
Now, some might suggest that we would struggle to organise a “social event involving alcoholic drinks” in a town with one brewery, but with two in such close proximity, we’ve got to be in with a chance!
