Regular readers of Bankstone News will recall that those participating in our annual two-wheeled two-day tour of Yorkshire have been offered the chance to purchase brand new, freshly imported 125cc monkey bikes at the absurdly discounted price of just £600 thanks to the charitably-minded folks at Easy Rider.
We are delighted to announce that Bikesure – the highly successful specialist motorcycle insurance bit of Adrian Flux – have given earnest of their commitment to helping us raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance by purchasing not one but two gleaming new monkeys astride which to participate in Monkey Business 2010. Even as Bankstone News goes to press, said monkey bikes are busy being branded in Bikesure colours ready for delivery to Flux Towers for display and pre-event practice purposes.
Head Monkey Dickon Tysoe comments: “We are absolutely delighted to have Bikesure aboard for the 2010 event. This year’s event is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet. It should be a barrel of fun – but, more importantly, we’re doing our bit to support the life-saving work of the YAA.”
