One of the insurance industry’s great comedy names may be under threat after the board of disaster restoration firm Munters conceded that a takeover offer from Alfa Laval AB is “not unfair.”
Munter, of course, is a widely-recognised slang term for a deeply unattractive woman. Any re-brand would thus deprive those blighted by fires, floods and other such calamities of a bitter-sweet consolation chuckle over the DR firm’s name.
