July 8th has finally come and gone, and we are happy to report that Bankstone’s 90cc charity epic Monkey Monopoly was a rip-roaring success. Our cavalcade of monkey bikes and support vehicles traveled over 300 miles through North, South, East and West Yorkshire stopping at the sites on the Yorkshire edition of popular board game Monopoly. Challenges met and overcome along the way included torrential rain, homicidal motorists, rogue sheep and tourist hordes. Among two dozen riders taking part were road tester Adam “Chad” Child of Motorcycle News (MCN) and The Biker Show’s intrepid reporter Natalie Quirk (who only passed her CBT three days before). A film crew from The Biker Show covered the event, so look out for coverage from them very soon.
