Following England’s humiliating defeat at the hands of the country we persist in calling Holland last week, calls for Bankstone’s Dickon Tysoe’s immediate instatement as new England Manager are becoming harder and harder to ignore. For anyone who missed his recently promulgated landmark manifesto click here to read about the substantive raft of concrete steps Tysoe has launched to put our boys back on a certain course to surefire sustainable glory.

Meanwhile fans of our semi-regular motoring correspondent Marty Butch will be heartwarmed to learn of Marty’s imminent return with a road test review of his ride in a sleek Italian beast of a car belonging to a senior director of a leading East-Anglian broker. And don’t forget, if you’d like Marty to test drive your automotive pride and joy, you need only let us know. See here for details.

And finally, knowing how fiercely competitive our readers are, everyone at Bankstone News is very excited to bring you very exciting news of a very exciting competition. All you have to do (along with all the things you had to do already, obviously) is freeze-frame the credits at the end of the YouTube video featured in last week’s Bankstone News and guess the real names of the anagramatically disguised director and the editor of the movie in question.

The first person to send in a correct entry will win a delightful 1/10th scale model of a Ducati motorcycle once famously ridden by Valentino Rossi lovingly repainted in BLD livery, which they gave us for Christmas, and with which we will be genuinely pained to be parted.

We’re even prepared to throw in the digital photo frame they gave us the year before. It’s got a load of Dickon’s family photos on it at the moment. But don’t worry, it doesn’t exactly work, so you won’t have to look at them. The 1/10th scale replica bike’s fine though. That’s in perfect working order.

Send your answers – we only need the real names of the director and the editor, remember (so no personally offensive remarks relating to these talented and creative individuals, please) – to editor@bankstone-news.co.uk and you could be the proud owner of a charming corporate gift that’s sure to turn heads wherever you take it.
