Bankstone staff have raised over £250 ‚ and counting ‚ for charity Children in Need. Bankstone is always happy to support a worthwhile cause ‚ especially when there’s some good team-building fun to be had along the way. A whole range of activities were laid on to coincide with the annual return of Children in Need day on November 16th, helping to raise money for disadvantaged children across the UK.

First on Wednesday the 14th November there was a quiz night at the Navigation pub in Sowerby Bridge, starting at 8.30pm. Each team of three paid £5 to enter and an extra 10p minimum donation for every wrong answer! Each member of the winning team won an extra day’s annual leave.

Friday’s dress down/dress in red day raised another £1 or £2 from every member of staff. There were cakes and biscuits baked by staff on sale, and an auction for another extra day of annual leave. Bankstone staff all brought in photos of themselves aged 5, and the staff member who matched the highest number with their adult versions won – you guessed it: an extra day of annual leave!
