Preparations continue apace for Bankstone’s annual charity fundraising monkey bike odyssey MONKEY MONOPOLY. With this year’s event now less than a month away, Bankstone’s Dickon Tysoe pictured outside one of the stops, Lewis & Cooper in Northallerton, has, as a DJ would say, been out and about on Yorkshire’s highways and byways ‚ plotting out a course that takes in every place named on the Yorkshire edition of the Monopoly game board over two days during the first weekend in July. No fewer than ten bikes will ride in convoy this year. Heads are sure to turn as the UK’s low-est riding biker gang tools by, knees akimbo, sounding like nothing so much as a flight of strimmers.
